Is your AI governed by the AI Act (European Union Artificial Intelligence Act)?

According to the European Commission’s guidelines, a system is considered to be an "AI system" if, at some point in its lifecycle (design, development, or use), it exhibits certain characteristic elements.

If your system meets these criteria, it is considered an AI system within the meaning of the AI Act and must therefore comply with its requirements. Otherwise, the regulation does not apply.
