The European Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) is reshaping the role of Data Protection Officers. Traditionally focused on the governance of personal data, DPOs are increasingly being called upon to contribute to the broader governance of artificial intelligence.

At the DPO Forum Luxembourg on 13 February 2025, we explored what the AI Act means for DPOs and how GDPR compliance and AI governance can be coordinated in practice. This presentation reflects the regulatory context as it stood at the time of the event.

Download the presentation to explore the discussion in its original context. For the latest information on the AI Act implementation timeline, please also consult our updated resources.
