AI literacy means skills, knowledge and understanding that allow providers, deployers and affected persons to

  • make an informed deployment of AI systems
  • and gain awareness about the opportunities and risks of AI and possible harm it can cause

AI literacy takes into account the respective rights and obligations of those different actors in the context of the EU AI Act.

The EU AI Office has gathered some of the ongoing practices among the pledgers of the AI Pact with the purpose of creating a living repositor to provide examples on ongoing AI literacy practices.
