🚀 A New Milestone for Dastra

Since its inception, Dastra has helped organizations structure and manage their GDPR compliance.

Over the years, one reality has become clear: GDPR is only the starting point. Organizations now need to handle a growing diversity of compliance frameworks—whether standards, industry-specific frameworks, customer requirements, or regulatory obligations—while maintaining a clear, operational, and sustainable view of their overall compliance posture.

To address this challenge, we are launching Dastra version 2.0.

After more than six months of work, this major release lays the foundation for a new ambition: enabling teams to manage compliance as a living, continuous process, rather than as a series of one-off audits or static documents.

We have also introduced the ability to configure the AI model family you wish to use at the level of your Dastra customer account.

Below is a detailed overview of what’s new in Dastra 2.0:

New Features

🛠️ Compliance Management

With version 2.0, we introduce a brand-new Compliance module, designed to manage compliance through a project-based approach.

Each compliance project becomes a centralized workspace where you can:

  • Import existing privacy-oriented standard templates built by our experts (GDPR, AI Act, etc.), or create your own internal policies

  • Track the execution of controls and tests for each requirement

  • Manage risks associated with controls

  • Reuse and share controls across multiple standards within the same compliance project, enabling simultaneous progress across several compliance frameworks

  • Conduct internal or external audits per standard directly within the platform

  • Document evidence and audit results

  • Monitor and steer the entire project using a wide range of built-in KPIs

You remain fully in control of your methodology, while benefiting from a tool designed to structure, monitor, and continuously evolve your compliance over time.

📌 Go Further

Dastra 2.0 introduces a new way of managing compliance, but this release note only covers the key highlights.

To explore all features and learn how to put them into practice:

  • Register for our product webinar, where we will demonstrate in concrete terms how to manage compliance projects with Dastra 2.0

AI Model Selection (Mistral AI Integration)

Dastra now offers advanced flexibility in the selection of artificial intelligence models used across the platform. Depending on your requirements in terms of performance, data sovereignty, or compliance, you can choose the model family that best fits your needs: OpenAI models for advanced capabilities, Mistral as a high-performance European alternative, or open-source models such as DeepSeek for increased control and transparency.

This approach ensures that AI integration remains aligned with your technical, regulatory, and strategic constraints.

To select your preferred AI model, go to your Organization configuration page → AI Assistant (link).

ServiceNow Integration

Dastra now integrates with ServiceNow.

This new connector allows you, in just a few clicks, to synchronize your business applications with software assets managed in Dastra.

Enhancements

Data Glossary / Sensitivity field: it is now possible to select multiple sensitivity levels: Standard, Sensitive, and Highly Sensitive.

This significant change will impact the “Sensitive Data” field in APIs and custom reporting.

Bulk selection in data tables: It is now possible to perform bulk actions—such as deletion or modification—on all the data returned by the current query in data tables. The system has been tested on datasets of over 30,000 rows without any issues.

We can’t wait for you to discover version 2.0 and to support you in your compliance projects. See you soon!
