Insider lists are promptly updated when the department or person responsible for maintaining them is informed of a new person gaining access to inside information, of a person ceasing to have access to any inside information, or of a change in the reason for registration. Registered information that has lapsed is deleted at the end of the fifth year following cessation of access to any inside information, or a change in the reason for registration. As an exception, when the information relates to an issuer which is subject to the control of a competent foreign authority, counterpart of the Autorité des marchés financiers, to which a more restrictive data retention period applies, it is deleted under the same conditions only at the end of this period. Any updating of a list of insiders is reflected either by the entry in the processing of the date of modification or obsolescence of the information concerned, or by the creation of a new version of the entire list and the conservation for five years of the previous version
