Incident prevention during fire department operations

Recording is not permanent and cannot be triggered in cases where it is likely to infringe medical confidentiality. Firefighters may not use individual cameras other than those supplied to them by the fire and rescue services as part of their personnel equipment. It is forbidden to view audiovisual recordings outside the scope of any legal, administrative or disciplinary proceedings, or within the framework of training. Any purpose other than the prevention of incidents during firefighting operations, the recording of offences and the prosecution of offenders through the collection of evidence, as well as the training and education of firefighters, is excluded from the scope of this standard
